The collection uses the Chikki Paras and Gayatri borders of the traditional Ilkal saree. The pallus have the latti gunni motifs ( inspired by the rolling pin). This requires the three shuttle weaving technique that requires two weavers to work in cohesion. The body of the saree is in pure fine count cotton. The border warp, pallu and extra warp in the borders are woven in pure mulberry silk.
