Hello,
My name is Veda and I have been a Textile Designer, project coordinator and craft enthusiast for over 3 years now. Having done my graduation in architectural design, I chose to weave rather than cement my way through career opportunities.
I am intrigued by craft ecosystems, people and skills involved in making. On a normal work day you will find me juggling roles of coordinating craft projects, problem solving, communicating with artisans or engrossed in sorting yarn and dye colors. I love travelling to the craft clusters and interacting with people on ground with a larger purpose of being part of evolution and revival of craft, I enjoy working with communities because I truly believe in the work and skill they hone and hope to learn from them through collaboration.
